Submenus won't close on mobile (tablets) was created by rowby
Hello
Using Joomla 3.3.3. and Maximenu 7.1.12
I just noticed that on my tablet my submenus stay down, even when I click elsewhere. They won't close.
On desktop, when I move my mouse away, the sub menu closes okay.
Attached is a screenshot of my settings.
Here's a link to the site: link to site
It's the middle menu that has four big buttons.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rowby

Hi CEd,
Here's a screen capture of the menu I mean. You can click on any of the 4 "buttons" (Performance, Academic, World, or Alternative) and a submenu drops down.
Maybe I'm not using the right term, but there are these 4 dropdowns. They work fine in desktop, but in tablet they stay down and won't go "back up".
Thanks,
Rwoby

if you click on the parent item "performance studies" again, it should close

Yes, I see -- on mobile you have to click the top menu item again to close it....
Is there a way, in the maximenu ck settings, that if nothing is clicked (in mobile or tablet) that it closes after so many milliseconds -- without clicking the top menu item again?

this option does not exist yet. Not sure if this is the best solution
I think that the mobile (touch) devices are special, and need a special behavior. That is why I have developped the Maximenu CK Mobile plugin, to get the best user experience
Then every people see if this is what he wants or not
