Centering Horizontal Menu Text

My menu is fixed horizontal that covers the entire width of the screen, however the menu text is to the left. How do I center it.

I've looked a several post but those ideas didn't work for me.
Using Joomla 2.5.14

line 25 change the text-align:left into text-align:center

I made that change but nothing changed.
