Show specific amount of menuitem per column

Hello

As you can see in the attachement I should only display 4 menu items per column for level 2 items (left column is for level 1, other 2 colums for level 2 items).

For every entry on level 1, the level 2 items should appear the same way, namely on top. Is this possible?



I tried it with a copy of the module, but then the hover doesn't work anymore, only when you click on an item which is not wanted by the customer.

I'm using Joomla 2.5.9 with Maximenu 6.1.18. Any help is appreciated!

be careful you must give a unique ID (name) for each module in the options

then for me on your screenshot you have 3 columns create on "project to tek", "thema eins" and "theme funf"

Thanks for your reply.

The left column is all for level 1 menu items (Projekt, Faszination, Karriere, Kontakt). When I hover on "Projekt", there are 8 submenu items (all level 2, from "Thema 1" to "Thema 8").

When I hover over "Faszination Technik", there are for example 5 submenu items, but the view should be exactly the same -> in the middle column "Thema 1" to "Thema 4" and in the right column only "Thema 5".

Is this possible to realise? I tried to do that with margins as you can see here, but it works only for the menu item "Faszination":

ah ok ! it is a vertical menu
then yes, create 2 columns , 1 on "thema eins" and 1 on "thema funf". that's it

do you have a hint for me where and how i can create the colums?

for column creation you have some explanations on joomlack :

all is explained in the doc of the module, but the best suggestion would be to use the plugin maximenu params (not free)
you can still create the column without this with the param [col=180]
