IPAD - menu items with sub items

Hi I was wondering if anyone else is seeing problems with menu items which have children items responding to clicks.

All other level1 items respond as expected, tis just the ones with children not responding.

Any thoughts v welcome

I believe Ive the latest edition of maximenuck (the free module part), is it possible I need to update the plugin to fix this ? How would I go about confirming the version number to check if this is happening because Ive an outdate module / plugin version?

already discussed in this forum, the parent items only open the submenu. They can not redirect the page too

God I hate ipads

Could I ask is there any chance of a work around being found to this ipad weirdness or is it literally a limitation of the environment / device that could never be worked around?
