ampersands & in external urls - invalid markup

I have searched this forum looking for a fix for this to no avail. I do not speak French, and a large portion of your forum does not convert to English making it impossible to read.

I have a single install of the latest maximenuck 6.0.1 installed in my joomla 2.5.4 The menu works beautifully but due to it unencoding ampersands in external urls - changing & to & it not only breaks validation, but it also breaks other scripts and coding.

This is only happening with the menu items in the maximenu. It does not happen in other normal joomla menus.

How do we fix this? These errors are causing errors with other coding.

please send me screenshots of your params with ampersands and the result on front end. Strange because it should work as standard joomla menus

I really don't like to post my clients url's in forums, is there any other way I can send it to you?...and then when we resolve the issue we can post it here in the forum for other users? Sorry for the inconvenience and hope that you understand.

just send me screenshots where and how you put the & in your page, and the result as screenshot too. Like you want...

This isn't making any sense - a screen shot is still going to show my clients url, but here goes.

One of the links I entered is or/index.php?action=searchresults&pclass[]=1

Here you can see that it is invalid markup:
validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2F...=W3C_Validator%2F1.3

I have also tried using the full url, but it still results in invalid markup.

And of course if I disable the maximenuck all together, then the page valid dates. But as you can see in the results above, it's the unencoded ampersands that are causing the invalidation.

do you know that you can do screenshots of a selected area only ? ...
ok, so it is in a link url, I see.

I will have a look why this does not happen on the joomla native menu.
