Is there a way to make the maximenu sticky?

How would you make one main menu bar item different than the rest. Like CONTACT US in the attached example?

first, have you managed to make the menu sticky ?
for the contact us, you can edit the menu item and go in the tab "Maximenu CK Params" and other "Maximenu CK tabs". You will find the styles where you can set the background and color for this item only

I will give that a try.

A different issue I'm having is the new menu items (in the main menu, such as Contact Us) change states. I do not want the font to change states when the page is active. I compared my setting to an old test site and I can't figure it out.

The setting in Maximenu CK look fine.
