Gantry Particle as a Menu item like a Modul was created by janos
Is there any chance to launch a Gantry Particle /e.g. a Modal Search/ just like a Modul?

Hi
I don't know how the Gantry particles are working, if you are able to load them from an article or module, then you can do it anywhere.
I don't think that the menu is in cause here, but may be you can explain a bit more

Hi there!
As far as I can read, Particles are individual parts provided by Gantry.
A module position is such a particle.
If you want to install a MaxiMenuCK, you must insert a “module position” in or via Gantry.
Then adjust or set the “position key” in the same process. In Joomla, this is the name of the module position! If you want to use the maximum menu, you must NOT use the "menu particle", but a "module particle"!
Then create a new MaxiMenuCK module in Joomla and enter the name of the module item from Gentry right there.Read here:https://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/particles/position
Regards,
Heino

the search icon as you show it, is not part of the mobile menu
the search feature is inside the menu, it means when you open it with the hamburger icon, then you will get the search feature to look in the menu items
here you want a search feature for your website, using a separate icon. You must load a module in a position aside the mobile menu

then it appears on the right side of the Hamburger Menu, doesn't it?
Can't you place an icon, an image, a text with a link, like the logo, before the Hamburger Menu icon?
