dropdown problem with Litespeed Cache was created by olliek
Hi,
Nevertheless the dropdown on mouseover does not work after some time. When the cache is cleared, it works again. It is on a Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 version. If it does not work, the URL for the menu item "javascript:void(0)" is displayed. Can you help us please?
Best regards
Oliver

Hi
the "javascript:void(0)" means that the system detects that you are on a mobile device
when it happens, you shall be able to show the submenu on click, is it right ?
I don't know why this happens, may be that you have a user-agent switcher that interfers ?

Hi,
thank you for your answer. No, it does not work in all browsers. Only when I clear the cache in the backend, it works properly. Maybe this means that a mobile version was cached in the litecache. Then I continue to search there. Thanks a lot

you can also try to go in the module >> advanced >> cache >> disable it for this module only and see if it works

Hi,
We still have the problem with the menu and Lite Speed Cache. In the cahced version the event function is missing (see screenshot 1) and it is set in the href="javascreipt:void(0)" in contrast to the deactivated Lite Speed Cache (see screenshot 2). Does this help to identify the problem?
