As we outsource to our clients, it is important for us to have a consistent managing interface.

this is the first time someone ask me for an admin override :)
the problem if you override the admin, you may loose some new features and create some problems if you have an old layout with new JS/CSS files

you may better use some CSS to override the styles, does this make sense for you ?

I thought that it is a standard in Joomla to get any views overridden. I am aware that I need to keep the track of any changes but it is still a good thing to be able to override. For Instance I would like to override the imagepath in browse view as I use a different path for my images.

I am trying to use the custom css for a menu manager's style but it seems that I cannot override it. There is no problem with the other pages.

ok, what do you think about
- having an option to setup the images base path for the media manager
instead of using an override ?

for the CSS, everything can be overridden, tell me what you need to do and I can guide you
is it ok like this ?
