Sorry, it works with the free option as that has no uploads. The error only occurs on the paid packages where uploading of images or files is enabled.

ok, my bad I have not seen the "paid" word in your previous message ;)

now I see it , and the message in the console is quite simple

TypeError: this._addClass is not a function[En savoir plus] jquery-ui.js:15273:13
jQuery 8
<anonyme> sapetdirectory.co.za/test/index.php?opti...ge=4&Itemid=121:2633
jQuery 4

the file listed here is
sapetdirectory.co.za/test/components/com...sets/js/jquery-ui.js

the fact is that the default jQuery-ui from joomla is
<script src="/test/media/jui/js/jquery.ui.core.min.js?6ce37e7cee62aa1b472f69cdd81c937d" type="text/javascript"></script>
>> version 1.9.2
and the one loaded before by Jbusiness
<script src="/test/components/com_jbusinessdirectory/assets/js/jquery-ui.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
>> version 1.12.1

they are based on a more recent jQuery-ui version but there file is overridden by the one loaded by joomla because it is called later
There is nothing to do with Maximenu CK here, except the fact that Maximenu CK needs the jQuery from Joomla and use the API to load it in the page, like it shall be done ;)

Hope it helps

Hi CEd

Thank you so much. That doesnt mean much to me and I was really puzzled as it works fine with the old version and when the menu module is disabled. At least now I can go back to them and tell them that it is something to do with their component.

Just to say I really like your work and the menu is incredible. I have used it on about 6 different category menus on this site fambook.co.za/ with different colours and images in the menu and it is really easy to use.

Thank you again

Regards
Jonathan

Hi CEd

Sorry to worry you again about this. You mentioned Maximenu CK needs the jQuery from Joomla and uses the API to load it in the page. If i disable the Maximenu module then the directory image upload works fine and the page is fine like I mentioned so I am presuming that by Maximenu using the API to load JQuery this overwrites the newer version used by J_BusinessDirectory.

If I use something like JQuery Easy to force everything to use JQuery 1.12.2, do you know if this would cause an issue with Maximenu as that is the only solution I can think off to resolve this
