Tried that, even if I set the menu assignment to "No Pages", it is still loaded by the maximenu... Only if I unpublish the module then it doesn't appear on maximenu... Seems like the standard menu assignment config does not affect the maximenu loading the module?

you are trying to solve a problem between your search module and your map by playing with maximenu
this is not the solution. If you have a conflict with Mootols, then you must remove your search module and use another one that does not load the osbolete library (just for a search !)
I will check into maximenu for the assignment, but it shall work as it worked since years until now ...

Thank you. Strictly speaking it is actually for a Filter+Search module.
I've been looking more into this, it looks like the issue could be more general. For some reason if I change the maximenu parameters like padding/margin/etc., it does not seem to have any effect. I think the template may be overriding the maximenu configurations. I found the attached file on /public_html/templates/welldone/html/mod_maximenuck/fullwidth.php, could this be causing the non-functioning maximenuck params config?

it seems that you have an override into your template for the module
this is a problem from the template developper that has changed the css names of the classes into the menu
you can try to rename this file from the override, to disable it temporary and see how it works.
