Mobile menu doesn't work in IE was created by X-Bumble

Hi there,
I hope you can please help me. I have a website with CK Maximenu running (with the mobile extension purchased and uploaded).
The mobile phone menu switches fine in Firefox and Chrome, but doesn't seem to work with Internet Explorer.

Could you please advise on how to get the mobile menu working in IE?

I don't know why, but in IE there are some CSS rules missing:

Code:

.mobilebarmaximenuck { display: none; }
	@media only screen and (max-width:640px){
    #maximenuck113 { display: none !important; }
    .mobilebarmaximenuck { display: block; }
	.hidemenumobileck {display: none !important;}
    body { padding-top: 40px !important; } }

try to add this in a custom css of your template and check if it works

I put your code in, but now the menu doesn't show up at all in IE?

ok, so finally it is possible that the problem is totally different than expected and not related to the mobile plugin

a normal html page starts like this :

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en-gb" dir="ltr">
<head>

and this is yours :

<html xmlns=" www.w3.org/1999/xhtml " xml:lang="en-gb" lang="en-gb" dir="ltr">

<head>

this is not valid and acn be the cause why IE (which in fact is really strict with the html layout) can not work correctly

please fix this and try

Hi there,
No - still the same issue.
If you look here, I have changed the code: www.plan-net.co.uk/index.php/about-us

If you have any other ideas I would be very grateful. The client has only just found this bug and the site is live so I need to find a fix ASAP.

can you test with the template protostar with the module in "position-1" and check if it works in IE

I don't know what is wrong here for now but I wonder if there is a problem in the template
