Overflow detection issue - misaligned sub menu

Overflow detection issue - misaligned sub menu was created by kinokeo

Overflow detection is activated and working on my site, except at certain resolutions the second last menu submenu also anchors to the right side of the screen even though it doesn't need to, and is no no longer under it's parent item.

See attachment showing hover on "Commercial Products" with viewport width at 984px.

I've previously tried removing all my styling but the problem still occurs.

I tried some CSS you mentioned in another thread:
Code:
div.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1 {position:relative !important;}

which stops this happening but also puts all the sub-menus a bit out of alignment.

The URL is viewmywebsite.com.au and I'm running Joomla 3.5.1 and MaxiMenuCK 8.1.6

Thanks for any help with this.

Hi
go in the file
viewmywebsite.com.au/modules/mod_maximen...p?monid=maximenuck96

line 48 on div#maximenuck96 ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1
change the
position:static;
with
position:relative;

Thanks. This does fix the overflow issue, but also makes all the sub-menus a bit out of alignment on all screen resolutions.

The first sub-menu is left aligned to the parent, the next sub-menu is almost centered and the last submenu is right aligned (see attached).

Do you know if there's a way to keep these all left aligned while still using the overflow detection?

Thanks

"commercial products" and "about" submenus are right aligned because they go out of the menu dimensions

It seems pretty close to working perfectly. I think it is just over zealous on when it thinks a sub-menu will go out of the menu dimensions. As you can see in the attached screenshot, the sub-menu would be no where close to the edge of the menu, but CK still thinks it will and right aligns it.

I think it is just over zealous

lol, that's not false :D

I can not reproduce this by my side so I would need a FTP access to check this
but I will not be able to do it before next week
