SPECIFIC IMAGES FOR MOBILE OPTIONS does not show the image in the folder.
In Joomla3 i use the setting Max resolution for images for Mobile set to 480 PX
When i use my phone to test... the a folder is created named 480 and the images are placed in that folder.
I want to use different images so i replace them in the 480 folder.
I clear the cache and test on my phone again...still the old images.
It seems it wont load the images. They replaced images have the same name and extentsion as the original ones
What is going wrong ?

First of all...thanks for the quick response !!
Second...it does something
But...if i scale my Firefox (below 480px) ...SlideShow CK makes 2 folders in my case a 480 and a th.
It seems that images are scaled but it also seems i cannot change them for my own images.
Thats a shame but hey..images are scaled !!
When i re-size my Firefox window back to full screen something strange happens.
I dont get my original pictures back. I get "the zoomed in" or scales pictures back.
So i have deleted my 480 folder and my th folder..i cleaned up my cache in joomla...and..i still get my scaled images in stead of my ordinal ones
So i used F5 CTRL+F5 and i cleaned up cache in Joomla...still the scaled images...
Oke...could be bug..lets try switching off Use specific images for Mobile .
I still get the scaled images..now its working to good
It keeps giving me scaled images..strange..i seems i cant get back to a normal working situation
Funny but true !

ok, just let me explain and you will be able to tell me if it is ok
- normal screens (>480px) shall use the native images
- small screens (<480px) shall use the images in the 480 subfolder
but the images will not change when you resize your screen, this has no sense. They are loaded on the page load :
- when you load the page with your window > 480 : normal
- when you load the page with your window < 480 : resized images
so to see if it works between both cases, you must reload your page at each resolution you want to test.
I hope that this is clear and you can tell me if it is correct now or not

Yes..that seems correct ! And it seems logic..
Could you explain this ontwerp.boekhoorn.nl/snurk2/
Its my site and no matter how i reload..i keep getting the 480 images.
And..there are no 480 images anymore..because i have deleted the folder.
Its a test environment and in dutch but i shows you what i mean..

the image loaded is for example
ontwerp.boekhoorn.nl/snurk2/images/heade...-1.png?1435647682107
this is not a 480 resized image
may be just that you have set a too high setting for the slideshow height, regarding the fact that your images are very large
