Thumbnail display issue in mobile view

Hi, I have enabled thumbnails on a number of slideshows, and set them to 80px x 60px. The slideshow displays beautifully on all devices, but with one little problem on a mobile phone. The thumbnails still appear under the slideshow, and the scroll left-right arrows also appear next to the thumbnails. However, instead of appearing in a scrolling horizontal line, the thumbnails appear in a vertical line, which means only one can be seen.

Do you have any thoughts why this might be? I am using Joomla 3, and the T3 BS3 template. Thanks in advance.

on my phone I have the same issue but not on the computer even with the user-agent changed
