Slideshow CK breaks with {loadposition}

I have a number of slideshows in regular module positions throughout my site, and they work perfectly, but when I try to load them in custom positions via {loadposition} or {loadmodule}, they not only do not appear, the page itself breaks (dropdown navigation does not work).

Any suggestions?
