Slideshow CK and Maximenu CK - eu-eprivacy directi

HI there all,

Got a strange situation - and looking for some help.

loaded latest joomla 3.2.2 and latest meximuenu CK and slideshow CK. Go a site with SSL on.

Wsa all good then added an extension called eu-eprivacy directive . which was supposed to help with cookies . found it far too aggresive and did strange things but after removing am convinced it has done something under the wraps . I am trying to contact the owner of the extension but not really getting enough help.

My slideshow will only display on https pages and have to force ssl to entire site to make it work. strange thing if i turn off ssl visit a page within the site which is ssl and then go back to home page it works ? wierd . also my mobile menu stopped working completely .

all straight after loading this extension. - coudl it be a javaquery or mootools issue or perhaps htaccess issue ???

I am thinking it has changed a setting somewhere .

I am trying to get our site sorted for our charity - we don;t have much funding and I trying to find someone who would be willing to help me out . I'm sure a whiz joomla expert would sort this out in no time . I have tried all sorts of things .

problem is site is kind of live and has to be due to our annual charity event and needing to sell tickets for it .

anything anyone can do to offer me some help would be very much appreciated .

1/ the menu and the slideshow are working by my side on the front page
2/ the mobile menu works for the footer menu (not enabled for the top menu)
I'm not sure to understand the problem

It is working at the moment but if I switch off the forced ssl then it stops working on the front page .

your right its not enabled for the top menu . I switched it off so that you at least get a top menu . but if I switch on it stops working .

I know its not the CK software because its awesome software and was working fine . Its this other extension has done something . I suspect the issue is the same one for both problems . I have just turned off the forced SSL - so have a look now and you will see it has stopped working .

Also for the mobile menu - I have changed to a static and not fluid page - will it still function with this type of page . TRying to remember whereabouts the setting is to turn it back on - thought it was in the module but not showing - so wondering if it dissapears if the site is set to static .

Will leave it off for a short while.. let me know

you must try to unpublish your additional system plugins to find what is causing this

may be it is the cookieaccept module ?
unpublish it and tell me
