Hi,
I would like to have the caption under the image, not on it. I thought I could dot this in the settings with a top margin. That doesn't work. Changing the css doesn't help either. Is there a way to put the caption under the image?
It would be great because I want to add information and still show the complete image.
Regards, Tom

To bad. I love Slideshow CK. This is for an artists site and we want the text under the images (drawings).
I had a look at the Themes, but they all display the caption on the image too.
Thanks, Tom

I have already worked on this demand and unfortunately this is not possible
you should then better use Playlist CK to not hide the image with the caption

I'm afraid that's not a good option. Looks like what we want is to simple . All slideshows are to fancy, with lots op transitions. So far Yootheme's widgetkit slideshow seems the only option. Even than I'll have to override a lot of css.
Seems like slideshow developers don't like pictures .

If anyone is interested, I did manage to do this. Here is a screenshot:
(ok, I've tried 3 times to add and insert the screenshot, but it just won't appear. Can I just say that I hate bbcode, and don't understand why all the forums and commenting solutions have switched to it?)
Here is how I did it:
That should do it. Hope that helps someone.

Here is how I did it:
- In the module Advanced settings, put captionsbelow in the Module Class Suffix box (don't forget a space before captionsbelow).
- In /modules/mod_slideshowck/themes/default/css/ create a file called custom.css
- Put this code in the file and save it:
Code:div.captionsbelow .camera_wrap { height: 553px !important; } div.captionsbelow .camera_caption { top: 450px; }
- In /modules/mod_slideshowck/mod_slideshowck.php, find this line:
Code:$document->addStyleSheet(JURI::base(true) . '/modules/mod_slideshowck/themes/' . $theme . '/css/camera.css');Code:$document->addStyleSheet(JURI::base(true) . '/modules/mod_slideshowck/themes/' . $theme . '/css/custom.css');
That should do it. Hope that helps someone.
