NAVIGATION BUTTONS AND PAGINATION DO NOT WORK

hallo, im' using slideshock 1.3.6 and params 1.1.3 in my template (Kallyas).
Disabling jquery on the slideshow ck module it works (otherwise anything is seen), exept from one thing: clicking on next/previous or pagination buttons anything happens, the slideshows only rotate automatically in order.
Couls you help me ?

it seems that there is a conflict with something else in the site (template or extension) that catches the click on the button and replace it with another action (you can see that it fills some code in the <span> when clicking it with firebug)
