Hi

I've integrated the slideshow-module mod_slideshow_ck_1.3.6_j25

redesign.us-nautic.ch/redesign/?view=featured

I've added the pictures in the module - but for some reason the images are not visible on the joomlaposition "slideshow" - even if I place it on some other position. In the sourcecode index.php I see it's inside - but nothing to see even if I leave the regular pictures inside.

Regards Dali

Hi
this is a jquery issue. Try to change your template or test the plugin "jquery easy"

Hi,
I suppose I have the same issue. All code for the slideshow is there in the page source code but the only thing that becomes visible is the name of the module instance (which I usually set to Show when testing).

I installed jQuery Easy after reading this topic but honestly I don't have a clue as to how I should use this plugin. So I hope you can help me a bit further.

You can check my page here (please note: this is a develop account; when a project is finished I'll transfer it to it's final location and I'll start working on a new project on this account).

Kind regards,
Frits

Thanks for replying so quickly. Yes, removing this line helps!

I have a few questions though:
  • My template is based on the Strapped template from HWDMediashare. Won't removing this line make the template fail in some other area?
  • In case that I would deinstall Slideshow CK, then would I have to restore the line that I removed?
  • The template also calls a script named jQuery.noConflict (a few lines below the one that I've removed); it suppose that was meant to solve issues like this? Why did it fail?
  • As removing this line solved the issue, maybe I can deinstall jQueryEasy from this site? I'd rather not have any plugins installed that I do nota actually use.

Kind regards,
Frits
