Slideshow CK - options/theme was created by ml4@outlook.de
Hello,
I use the slideshow CK 4x on my website.
Joomla: 5.0.1
Slideshow CK: 2.5.2
1x at: www.m-lindert.de/
Settings: Options / Theme / default_3
2x at: www.m-lindert.de/klassentreffen
Settings: Options / Theme / default_3
Settings: Options / Theme / default_6
1x at: www.m-lindert.de/web-service
Settings: Options / Theme / default_3
At: www.m-lindert.de/klassentreffen
The settings "default_6" are adopted for both sliders!
That's not really a bad thing, I'd even like to leave it like that
with the understanding that you then have to set “default_6” for the first slider.
Can sir follow me with my request?
Best regards
Manfred Lindert

Hi
the theme are general styles and it was designed in the previous versions of Slideshow CK
now you shall use the Styles >> edit
here you can go in the Presets >> choose the Preset1 which is the same as theme_6
you can also update the settings (color, margin, etc) and reuse this style for other modules. The style is unique for each module and will not be applied to other modules in the page

Hallo,

Hello,
Under the menu item “Class meeting” the upper slider in the header area has the setting:
Options/Themes/default_3
the slider in the content area:
Options/Themes/default_6
With this setting, the upper silder in the header area also gets the setting "default_6" - inherited, so to speak.
If I now create a “Style” for the top slider and edit it, then I can style the top slider separately again.
It is working !
But I don't really understand the situation!
Why has the upper slider in the header area adopted the setting from the slider in the content area?
The upper slider in the header area has now been given a separate “style”!
I tried this again, it doesn't happen with the other sliders,
This effect only occurs when both sliders are accessed via a menu item.
Best regards

yes, the themes are not specific to each module. This is why if you put 2 modules with 2 different themes, both are loaded on the page and apply to both modules (sort of css conflict in this case)
That is why you muse use the styles, which are specific to each module

Hallo,
Manfred
Hello,
ahhh, ok - I know.
So in order not to have a CSS conflict, both modules must have the same settings.
But then it is permissible to operate two or more slider modules with one call?
Best regards

yes you can use the tag system if you want to have a base module and then call it multiple just by changing the images source for example
www.joomlack.fr/en/documentation/slidesh...o-load-the-slideshow
else you can also create multiple modules and reuse the same style for multiple of them. So if you update the style it will apply to all modules
