TOPIC: Slideshow size

Hello,

I am new to both Joomla and Slideshow CK. I am using the free version of Slideshow CK and I am very impressed with it. However, I am struggling to find a way to limit the size of the slideshow within the Main Body section of my Helix Ultimate layout. Slideshow takes up the full width of the Main Body (I am using a 9 3 format of Main Body component and Right).

I would like to reduce the size of the slideshow, proportionately to dimensions of the pictures, to fill about 50% of the Main Body in its centre. Please refer to the attached picture to see what I am trying to describe.

Is this possible please?

in your screenshot, the slideshow is as large as the article. And you want it to take only 50% of this ?
you can give a fixed width in the module settings, so that it will take the place that you want. then to center it, give me the url of your page to check

I have altered the setting marked on the attached file to several values of px, from auto, but the slideshow stays the same size when I preview the website. I'd appreciate any further help you can provide please. The URL is www.roverp4dg.org.uk/new-website/ .

you can try to give it a "400px" value for example, this will make it the size you want

then add this CSS in your page to center it

As suggested, I changed the module width to 400px but the website is still showing the original larger width. I wonder if you can assist further please?

That works great thanks - I have increased the parameter to 500. I will now add the CSS components.
