Thanks for testing this. I've done some more investigation and have found that I can still reproduce the issue on both your demo site and www.pixedelic.com/plugins/camera/ as well as the site where I've installed Slideshow CK. It's more difficult to reproduce than when I first noticed it but always happens eventually on all 3 sites. Scrolling the page by putting a finger on the area of the page containing the slideshow seems to make it more likely to happen but there may be other factors as well.
I think the most likely cause is a bug in Chrome introduced around version 62 or 63 (not sure exactly which one). I've found some bugs raised on bugs.chromium.org that describe other issues introduced in Chrome 62 on Android e.g. id 805525 which may be related so I'll report it via the Feedback option in the browser.

Chrome for Android version 68 appears to have fixed this issue.
