Responsiveness not working

Hello,
Using this module in the banner section of my site is not producing a responsive layout. I have the width set to Auto in Styles Options tab... is there something I'm missing? The site is not live yet, so I have attached screen shots. If you need log in access please let me know how you would like me to securely send you log in info.

The images were created as 1200x220
Adjust The Images in Effects options is set to YES.
I have the width set at auto.
Setting the height at auto produces a height of 60px.
Setting the width at 255px shows the image, but upon resizing the screen it doesn't change.

if you set width on "auto" and height on "220", how does it looks like ?
Also try with a new module and the demo data and tell me if it works

Here is how it looks at 220 which as you can see cuts off part of the image...
