Muted option for locally hosted videos

I have used the video URL field to render a locally hosted video. The result is great in a desktop browser with good support for autoplay feature. However on mobile platform it often won't autoplay showing the video controls instead. In many cases, that can be improved by adding the "muted" option to the video tag, see walterebert.com/blog/html5-video-autoplay-mobile-revisited/ .

Is there a way to turn on this muted option within Slideshow CK or could someone tell me where in the code I might be able to do that (even if it's site-wide)? Thank you.

actually there is no such option because it uses an url to the video and the player is automatically rendered by the browser itself. There is no video tag inserted by the slideshow

(this is like when you copy/paste the video url in your browser)

due to backward compatibility I can not change this behavior in the current version of the module

I have to think on a new major version to include also some other improvements but it will not be done in the coming weeks ...
