Link options not working

Hello, I want the second image of my slideshow to link to a specific Joomla article. I tried to set the article link but I don't want the "read more" or any ... showing up. I just want the whole image to be a link to this article. Also, although I set the article in the article options, when I click on any link that is created it takes me to the facebook page!

So I tried the plain link option. I just pasted the article's URL. The problem now is that the whole image is not a link. In order to jump to the article, one must hover above the image and move the cursor around and click randomly until he/she finds the link.

please give me your url, I think that you have an issue in your template/website where something is overlapping the slideshow, giving you the impression that this one does not work

I had moved the caption box further up and that caused the link area to be constrained to the area above the caption. I now moved it back to the bottom and it works better.

ok I see, in fact the caption is ni front of the link and this is a problem for you.

Try to add this css in a custom.css of your template
this will put the link in front

I will give it a try... in the meantime, could you pls tell me why the slideshow is not showing on mobile devices? I have set the height in percentage.
