Active Submenu items changes header color was created by mmoltzan
Hi Ced!
Great tools
Two Items -
1.
I'm using J 3.0.3 and AMCK 1.8.1
my site
Found this code posted in the forums.
I updated the mod_accordion_css.php to change the color of hover and active links in the sub menu.(see attached)
Now the accordion headers background and text change unexpectedly when I click on a sub-menu link and it becomes active.
I need the header to not change when a sub-menu link clicked and is active.
Also,
2.
Same site.
I'm using MMCK 7.0.9 for the Main Nav.
I've created a separate "red" menu in Joomla for the AMCK mod and the "main" hooks to MMCK.
When I open the menu manager, open "red" menu, open a menu to edit - under advanced options I see all the Maximenuck config stuff - parameters, Normal, Hover, Active, Submenu styles. But they do not effect the Accordion menu? Is this a bug?
Thanks!

Hi
1/ I don't understand what you want to do.if you set a color in css of course it will affect the menu ...
2/ the maximenu params are not designed to have any effect on the accordion menu, I really don't understand your request

the gradient is still there, but applied to the <li> parent tag. Then when deployed the <li> block is bigger and the gradient fills the whle surface so at the top beginning you only see the starting color.
You don't really see it because you have put the submenu background as white
to avoid this you should replace the gardient from the <li> tag with a gradient on the <a> tag

Thank you Ced, I understand.
Last question - How can I make the red bar…text to stay white with drop shadow all the time and not change to red when an sub-menu item is active?
Thanks for your help!

because in
aenpi.com/modules/mod_accordeonck/themes..._accordeonck_css.php
line 58 on ul#accordeonck105 li.hover, ul#accordeonck105 li.active > a
you have a color: #FF3333;
you should change the line into :
