Hikashop plugin not honoring Access Levels

Using Accordeon and Hikashop patch to display categories, it doesn't appear to honor access levels. Some categories are restricted, in standard Hikashop menus only accessible menu options are displayed.

Clicking on a menu option a user doesn't have access rights to causes a completely unrelated display.

Is there a way to correct this behavior so that only accessible menu options are displayed?

I have looked but this feature seems to be only in the Hikashop business edition, right ?

We are using the business edition, but in review of Hikashop's comparison, I don't see a reference to access restrictions being limited to business edition only.

Joomla core provides access restrictions, so I would assume that well implemented software would honor restrictions imposed similar to Joomla core.

Just because I don't have the business version of hikashop, in my admin the access are restricted.
then maximenu manages the joomla core access levels for the standard menu items.

I will look how to implement the access levels from hikashop business
