strange. It could be that you have a cache on the server, or a problem with the rights on the files
1/ backup your website and export the gabarit of your template
2/ uninstall template creator
3/ go with FTP and check that you have no more the folder /administrator/com_templateck
(if you still have some files here then you got a problem)
4/ install template creator again
tell me about the result

I uninstalled TC. No /administrator/com_templateck folder left.
Installed TC again. Same error.
So I talked to my provider. He checked the system, so we discovered that the problem has been caused by FireShield, a protection layer against DDOS attacks that he implemented the day before yesterday.
This added layer is based on nginx, that does its job and then redirect to Apache.
Because of some strange reason, this conflicts with Template Creator CK 4.x (not with 3.x versions).
Now my provider modified the FireShield configuration, so that contents are provided by Apache directly, without being managed by nginx. Template Creator CK 4.0.9 works regularly again.
I hope it's only a matter of rightly configuring FireShield, but the fact that 3.x versions don't conflict is a alarm sound to my ears. Maybe some strange code is present in version 4.09?
Can you give me your opinion?

thank you for the feedback !
I don't know what could be in conflict with Fireshield ... this is the first time I got this problem
is your provider able to check the log and see what was the cause ?

I asked my provider for logs.
But he answered that there actually is no bug: it is just a matter of configuration.
The change made for me is absolutely normal and provided as an option of FireShield/nginx.
This kind of configuration is made by the provider himself at the moment. An applet will be available soon in the provider's WebPanel, so that I can configure my site as I need.
I hope can be helpful for you, if other people experience the same issue.
