Transparent Solid Borders
Hi
how is it possible to make a solid transparent border? Is there a way to make this without a custom.css?
a second question: in the background I want this code:
background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% padding-box #FFF;
Is there a way to make this without a custom.css?
Is it possible in TC to have all menus open? - we have big screens and if the menus are all open TC will be more clearly arranged and it can speeding the processing.
Hope I can give you some ideas for TC.
Thank you and Regards
Roger

Hi
if you don't use the image then you don't have to give the rules relative to it. Just select the white #fff in the colorpicker

hmmm, I don't really understand what is the purpose of that. You can use some margins if you want to create a transparent spacemake a solid transparent border
Same here, why to give so much rules ? this is just a white background ...background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% padding-box #FFF;

I have already improved that by allowing hte accordions to be opened together, not everyone have a big screen like youIs it possible in TC to have all menus open? - we have big screens and if the menus are all open TC will be more clearly arranged and it can speeding the processing.

Hi
it has to with "width" and "%". In the html and css chaos it is sometimes very useful to use something in a transparent "color"
see:
stackoverflow.com/questions/3772218/prob...when-border-none-css
www.w3schools.com/cssref/tryit.asp?filen...css3_background-clip
My opinion is - TC is a developing tool and you should give the users those options.
And the menus - I have always to open each one - see the att - I thinks all menus open and the options to choose this improves TC.
Thank you and regards

for the padding-box, you can simply write
[code]background-clip: padding-box;[/quote] in the custom css area of the block where you want it to apply
What I don't understand is that you shall not have to deal with the width of the elements. You can give the width of the columns for example and apply them a border.
Then you can do what you want with the custom css anyway

Hi
the reason for this is - see the att. It works for 1 to 5 column and it works with different lenght of text. The total width is always exact the same and I can switch on and off the positions.
An other problem I just have seen - in the responsiv layouts position-7 and position-8 are missing - please see att.
Regards and thank you

I just tried it again with marging. Margin Inside or padding do not work - see att. It seems that only transparent borders where working.
With custom css and background color def under "Background color(s)"
background-clip: padding-box;
border-left: 5px solid transparent;
border-right: 5px solid transparent;
or all in the custom.css -
background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% padding-box #FFF;
border-left: 5px solid transparent;
border-right: 5px solid transparent;
both methods are equalised and are working.
I think it will be a good idea to introduce transparent borders and the possibility to select the background-clip
