Cannot edit image on frontend - backend is fine was created by trogladyte

www.ckdev.info/advent PHP8 | Joomla 4.1.5

Where I have an image inserted with PB's image block, I can edit/insert/replace in the backend without issue. However, logging into the frontend and trying to do the same thing gives a 404. If it's an image inserted into an article it works fine. I get a URL:

ckdev.info/advent/about-us/clergy-staff?...cy9jbGVyZ3ktc3RhZmY=

On another site I'm building the image URL is very different:

www.ckdev.info/church/?view=form&layout=...ZXYuaW5mby9jaHVyY2gv

the url that you give to me are the article edition form in frontend, I can not access that (I have no account to edit)
I have checked by my side and it works

where do you have the 404 error ? when selecting the image ? in the popup ? in the article edition form ? ...
in your website ABOUT US >> CLERGY & STAFF, I see some images

ok I see, the problem seems related to the subfolder of your main domain
you shall use a subdomain, for example
subdomain.yourdomain
instead of
yourdomain/subfolder
this shall work

The website is now in its regular hosting (that is, no sub-domain). www.adventaz.org . Unfortunately, this problem still persists. So, it doesn't look like it was a sub-domain issue.

Hope you had a great break Ced (sure you needed it!!).

This problem continues. Images are still unable to be inserted/changed from frontend editing.
