First time carousel CK user

Hi, I am completely new to using Carousel CK for my Joomla 3 website.

On my website ( www.pmptherapy.com ) I have five icons that lead to different pages when you click on them. Right now I find my website very boring, so I would like to add a slideshow in the place of the quote. My idea is to have a different background popup when you click on one of the icons, with a short description of that type of therapy. (a little like in this website www.nevillecounseling.com/ , except that I would want my slideshow to be curved in stead of a rectangle, is that possible?)

I hope you can follow my explanation.

My question is whether I can use Carousel CK for this.

not sure that Carousel CK is what you need for this, you have the demo on joomlack.fr so you shall be able to see if this is what you want
