How to use this plugin

I am new to joomla and just trying to put a simple site together.

I am sorry if someone has asked this question before. Most of the threads are in French.

Came across your nice extensions and wanted to implement the mediabox / lightbox.

Have installed the plugin successfully.

I tried following the guide in the link above but I am not sure what editor it is referring to?

I am using joomla 3.

The youtube video is nice but I don't have the same options in my article editor. Please refer to the attached pic of the toolbars available to me in my article editor.

If I get this working for me I fully intend on purchasing it to use on my site and other sites.

my video is based on JCE editor which is really good
Then you can just toogle the editor to see the code and then you must have your link with the rel attribute like this : Ced

Thanks for replying so fast.

I have installed the JCE editor (com_jce_233RC3) and published it.

Mediabox CK is also installed (plg_mediabox_ck_1.3.3_j30).

I followed your video on youtube however, when I click on the image on the frontend it opens on a new page. There is no pop-up.

Here is the html code from the article I am testing it on.

I am still learning and building my site at the moment so, I have not uploaded it to an external server yet.

So, not able to provide you with a link.

I am just using the basic joomla template protostar and pretty much followed all the instructions in the video.

When I click on the image it opens up in a new window instead of the lightbox. Is something else maybe interfering with it?

I am only saying this because I also tried your slideshow and it initially didn't work and after reading your forum you had suggested to disable jquery in the slideshow module. After doing this it worked fine.

Do you have any suggestions please?

yes it seems like a JS conflict
look in your browser console to see if you get an error.
