I did try to follow the instructions there before I posted. I have labels.txt in the same directory as the images. The tutorial shows examples of using a tag and not using a html link. I tried different thing but could not get it to work with the link code I generated from the MediaBox CK pro editor button:
<a href="#" rel="lightbox" class="" title="Flower-doeling::Flower-doeling" data-dir="/images/news/flower-doeling" data-gallery="" data-nb="" data-random="" data-effect="">Additional Images</a>

ok. Simple question : does it work if you use a tag instead a link to call the directory ?
