Hi Mr C K

Francais then English:
Bonjour Monsieur C K

www.jonexperiment.com/subdomains/wipmcronin3/index.php/advance

lorsque je l'onu-publier maximenuck et publier le par défaut menu joomla module puis les sliders revenir à jaune ...

www.jonexperiment.com/subdomains/wipmcro...ex.php/advanced-menu

je me rends compte que ce n'est peut-être pas une question joomlack mais pas de mal à demander ...

Merci d'avance,

Jon

If you have time to take a look at this I would be most grateful:

I am using maximenuck plus params and mobile plugin.

All is good

I am also using iProperty by thethinkery.

All is good, except...

For the advanced search menu item, the sliders for adjusting values are disabled and greyed out.

They work when I use the default joomla menu module, but not when using maximenuck.

I have loaded and adjusted jQueryEasy, disabled the mobile plugin and other such things and the problem persists.

I have written to the guys at iProperty for assistance and I am also writing to you because I need help :(

If you fancy taking a look:

Underneath the map there should be yellow sliders but they are greyed out and disabled.

www.jonexperiment.com/subdomains/wipmcronin3/index.php/advance

When I un-publish maximenuck and publish the default joomla menu module then the sliders return to yellow...

www.jonexperiment.com/subdomains/wipmcro...ex.php/advanced-menu

I realise it might not be a joomlack issue but no harm in asking...

Thanks in Advance,
:)
Jon

Hi
The problem is that iProperty does not use the native jQuery and jQuery.ui library, but maximenu does (regarding the joomla 3 standards).
Please ask iProperty dev to check this point ...

Thanks for quick reply

So you both use the core Joomla Javascript libraries

but:

Joomlack uses core jQuery and jQuery.ui libraries, however:

iProperty uses different jQuery and jQuery.ui libraries...

I feel like I'm setting you against each other, I'm not, just trying to understand how to find a solution

So you both use the core Joomla Javascript libraries

no, both use the jQuery Javascript libraries

Joomlack uses core jQuery and jQuery.ui libraries, however:

iProperty uses different jQuery and jQuery.ui libraries...

Joomlack uses the joomla 3 API functions to load jQuery and jQuery.ui libraries

iProperty uses different jQuery and jQuery.ui libraries >> YES

if you were on joomla 2.5 I would suggest to use the plugin jQuery Easy, but on joomla 3 you should better ask the iproperty developper to load jquery with the joomla 3 API and use this version of jQuery to avoid conflitcs

Just thought I would keep you up to date on this 'issue':

The issue does seem to be their end, but interestingly, when I used a different companies (rockettheme) menu the problem disappeared though I am now having a sub-menu drop down issue, but that is presumably something completely unrelated
