VirtueMart patch won't display correctly

VirtueMart patch won't display correctly was created by Ryan Vance

Hello, my name is Ryan Vance. I am designing a website for my fathers business. He recently downloaded MaxiMenu. Then he bought the MaxiMenu Documentation, MaxiMenu Params, and MaxiMenu VirtueMart Patch. He bought them under his name (Matthew Vance).

The menu itself is working wonderfully, but I can't get the VirtueMart Patch to work correctly. I want the list of VirtueMart categories to display and use the hover mode just like the rest of my drop down sub-menus, but it makes them drop down as a main menu and use the main menu hover. When I try to change the Params of the new module I created, it messes with my existing menu. It is a new module so it should not have any affect on the other maximenu module.

The website I'm designing is (Holiness.net)
If anyone could take a look, the dropdown menu I'm trying to fix is under the "Store"
I would like the "Store" dropdown to look like the other two dropdowns on the main menu.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hey, thanks for the video, very helpfull. I have one further question, How do I make the color scheme match the colors of the current menu I have designed?
Thanks again for the help.

you can use the plugin maximenu params to help you in styling the menu, or you should use the CSS rules like for any style in any website :)

Can a regular CSS be used or must the PHP file be modified and saved under a different name. I have been able to tweak the menu using Firebug and saved the CSS but can't use it. The PHP file is much more complicated to change and it seems that some of the parameters in the Editor in admin are not there.

The real-time feedback for changes using the CSS editor in Firebug comes in handy.

Thanks,

Michael
