Level 3 dropdowns underneath level 2

Hi,
I'm in the middle of setting up a menu for a website (I am currently on an internal development server so cannot share the URL).
The intention is to have level 3 items as dropdowns, in a full width multicolumn menu. I've currently set this up by using the default template, but setting the fullwidth property on the menu manager in joomla (css class on li element).
This caused the dropdown menus to completely bug out, so I added the following CSS which brings them back into line (colour for debugging);
div#<?php echo $id; ?> ul.maximenuck li div.floatck ul.maximenuck2 li[data-level="3"],
div#<?php echo $id; ?> ul.maximenuck2 li[data-level="3"] {
background-color:#f00;
z-index: 9999999 !important;
position:relative !important;
}
However, even with the high z-index level, the dropdown still shows underneath the level 2 items (see attached image).
How can I get that submenu showing as expected, above the other second level items?
Cheers

Hi ced,
If I don't use that css (particularly the relative positioning) then the drop down menus appear to the right of the menu, and it's impossible to click on them.
I can give you a screenshot of that if it doesn't make sense.
I can send you my email address, but I can't see any way to private message you here.
Cheers.

Hi,
Ced solved this problem for me.
In case anyone stumbles onto this problem in the future, the solution was in styles customization -> submenu. Under the submenu settings row, I changed option #5 (sub submenu left position) to 180 - according to ced, this defaults to 100% if no value is entered.
The tooltip for this settings says that in most cases that value does not need to be changed, but in this case it did.
Cheers
