Additional icons in mobile menu

Hi

I have been asked to add some icons to the mobile menu something like this:



I tried adding them in a div inside the mobilebarmaximenuck div but when clicked they just expand the menu.
Is there a way of achieving this?

in the maximenu mobile plugin options you can set the design of the menu, and set the images for it
you can also use your own css rules if you prefer

I managed to get it working by creating a link:
<a href="#" onclick="openMenu();"> <span class="fa fa-bars"></span> </a>

And adding a script:
<script>
function openMenu() {
document.getElementById("maximenushopwide-mobilebarmaximenuck").click();
}
</script>

And some css to move things into position.

Not very elegant but it seems to work.
