Hi
the ordering used is the one in your shop, which is the normal way to work. You don't want to see your categories in alphabetical order, you want to see them like you have decided in the admin of the shop. You can then sort them manually by name
I will see if I can add an order option

Sometimes, yes. However in the case of quite many categories it is more logical to list them alphabetically. HIKA's native listing is especially great when you have multilingual shop, alphabetical listing is dependent of the (Falang) translated names.
If you would implement it, we will be more than happy!

It would be also great to implement the HIKA Menu of Brands listing. Any plan for that, please?

you can install the 2.0.2 of the hikashop patch and 8.2.3 of the maximenu module, you shall have a new option to sort the categories by name
for the brand listing, there is no plan for that for now.
@renem : if you have empty categories, I suggest you to unpublish them
I can add a control, but then on each category it will make a SQL request to look for products and this can heavily decrease your page loading time and increase the server loads

No big problem, but the default option in HikaShop is not to show empty categories.

yes I understand just that you will never have all your categories shown in the same time on the page, using maximenu CK you will . then the page load is higher
