Remote updating
Hi Cedric,
Hope that one day I can use the Joomla updater to update your extensions.
I do understand the need to get people to your website and buy stuff but this is very inconvenient when you manage hundreds of sites.
At the moment it makes me think twice before I use your extensions on a website. They are great but such a pain to keep up to date.
Normally I use watchful.li/ to keep all sites up to date and may be you can work out something different with them. Nonumber and Akeeba did it and it will keep growing., (and there are a lot of French people working there :-) )
Why not offer this as a professional (paid?) option?
Joomla now tends to loose out on Wordpress because there are too many people protecting their 'own way'.
Clients should not be bothered with update errors when they press the Update button.
Please consider the options.
Thanks
Bastiaan

Hi
I totally agree
This would be cool, I already have tested the joomla native option but this is not satisfying for me
I still under reflection for this

Hi,
I would appreciate a remote Updater for the Plugins. It's very time time-consuming to manage a lot of sites manually by using the extension uploader.
Maybe Akeeba Subs could do this?

Hi
I have an extensions manager here
www.joomlack.fr/en/download-joomla-exten...xtensions-manager-ck
and you should be able to use Watchfull.li to manage the updates for the free products

Haven't seen the extension manager before. Thanks!
I'm using myjoomla.com instead of watchfu.li
