Since you mention that is Based on Pixedelic's Camera plugin i made an experiment using bootstrap 3 framework and the pixedelic's camera scripts has the same behaviour like the case i relate you back then. If you don't remember this quote is about bootstrap 3 Jquery is not the same as slidesow's Jquery even if is 2.5 or 3.X.

Although it's a minor detail, appears like it is something from source. I'll see what is it to make them work, and if then find a lead to make them work in the joomla module.

I think that you should find why your version is different
may be you need some additional jquery plugins that can be loaded apart
Anyway to make things simple, using joomla 3 you must use the jquery from the Joomla library, even in your template

then if your template does not work correctly, you must find why (without replacing jquery)

Hi.
On a brand new site, (in which I installed Template Creator, Maximenu CK and Maximenu CK Mobile as well), the Slideshow CK module hangs for a while when I open it.
Then a message appear saying that a script is not working: If I continue, the message appears again and again.
If I stop the script, when I click the Add a slide button in the Sliders Manager tab, nothing happens, so I can't add any image to my slideshow.
I'm using Joomla 3.4.0.
Any suggestion?
