I've created a custom module and it fits the same size as the moduleCK.
How can I see and edit the width of position 3 ?

this is then something to manage in your template
you can simply publish the module in position-1 (same position as the top menu) to have a full width area

yes you're right , but when the size of my screen decreases then the module disappears (the same for my menu)
is there a way to edit the width of the position 3 ? I mean to cover the whole width of my page.

as said this is something to manage into your template.
You can simply edit it and add a new module position where you want
something like this
docs.joomla.org/Declaring_module_positions/en
or

In 'templateDetails.xml' file I put the
and in 'index.php' file I put the code
what else do I have to do and how can I set the new position? I mean to put my position under position 1 (to cover my new position the whole space under position 1)
New edit:
My new position is created under the position 1 (nav-pills) .
It covers the whole area of my page , but when the screen decreases then it disappears. How can I fix this ? I don't want it to disappear .
Have I created my new position correctly ? (I am newbie)
New edit:
I finally put my new position under banner in order not to disappear
Code:
<position>position-for-my-slider</position>
and in 'index.php' file I put the code
Code:
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="position-for-my-slider" style="xhtml" />

Code:
<div class="nav-collapse">
<jdoc:include type="modules" name="position-1" style="none" />

</div>
