Set default eapand/collaps value

I got this module and purchased the doc and the params module.
I have looked thrue the doc but cant find the setting to set weather the initial menu state is expanded or collapsed. I have it setup and it works but, unless I click the (-) to collapse it it is always expanded. If I collapse it then change the page it automatically re expands I need it to be the oppisite behaviour.

Also how do I set it up so the login form works like it does on the demo site.

had to switch BASE ITEM to current.
