Base Item and Start Level 2 let module disappear

After an update of the module, using a different base item with a start level to 2, hide the module.

If i set same base item but start from 1, the module is shown (with the first level menu voices that i don't want to show).

J3.4.8 + Accordeon 2.0.19

I have rolled back to 2.0.13a and all is working.

I have exactly the same.
The new version 2.0.21 you posted here, didn't solve the issue.
I just downloaded the accordion menu module in combination with the paid mobile menu.
Can I somewhere download the older version wich doesn't have this issue?

using an old version is not the solution !
Please report me the problem and solve it together. You shall know that all this is a problem on how to handle the active tree regarding the fact that you are using some alias or not.

When solving one situation, another one comes with a problem

Now tell me how you are creating your menu, with alias or not, and give me your url to check
