Added fonts do not display when selected

As can be seen from the attached screenshots, Poppins (Google font) has been installed and selected as the body font. Using "Inspect" it says it's displaying Poppins, but it renders as Times New Roman. Same goes for Headings which render in TNR as well, despite having another Google font selected. This is the second time I've had this happen to me - different sites.

For now, I have changed to Tahoma - body - and Verdana - Headings.

however. on other sites it's all fine. www.ckdev.info/papa uses Poppins as it's body font and it is rendering correctly so it's not my browser (Chrome). I also tried Gearhead in Firefox and it rendered TNR there too.

Poppins applied to body. PF Fusion Pro Sans applied to H1, 2, and 3.

the font files are not loaded at all in the page
check in your template folder and index.php file, is there the fonts file and the fonts call ?

Nothing about fonts at all in index.php (in the root directory of the installation).

Poppins is a Google Font, whereas PT Fusion is a Squirrelfont webfont. I see the files for PT in the template, but (I guess being a Googlefont) there's nothing for Poppins in the template directory.

yes for the gfont, but I also see the other font called

try to go in the fonts page of template creator to add your font again. Then select it (the new one) in your template and copy/apply the changes
Also check that the font applies in the interface
