Parameters reset without an error message

I created a Joomla template and a website based on that template. Some time ago some template parameters started resetting from time to time without displaying an error. I have no idea how to find the problem and really need a solution.

If I save a gabarit with the working parameters and import it after the problem occurs, the parameters are still wrong.

Are there any logfiles anywhere, what else can I do?
